All day the luna moth quivers in her cave. She loves to hide. . . to whisk away. In remote caverns, a secret chamber— nothing haunts nothing seeks only solace reaches her. Amid a permeating darkness she lurks. But as night descends and the moon spans the sky she leaves her hiding place behind. Fluttering wildly— her velvet wings take center stage.

Beautiful work, Kassi. I am entranced by these luminous creatures
This is absolutely beautiful, Kassi. The imagery of the luna moth quivering in her cave and then emerging into the night felt so symbolic,a quiet strength awakening. The line “only solace reaches her” is so soft and powerful, and that final scene of her velvet wings taking center stage gave me chills. What a tender metaphor for transformation, courage, and divine emergence. Thank you for this sacred offering today. Happy Sunday friend! 🥰❤️😍✨️
