Kassi, this is fantastic. I absolutely believe in the understory, the foundation we each have, that is often, if not always, unseen by others. But so critically felt by us! This post hit me where I needed it to today, as I'm feeling "under it" these days. Whatever the under it might be. It feels heavy, but I do believe it's another piece of my understory.
Also, congrats on the new project! If I ever self-published, I would clamor to be taught by you. Many will benefit from your wisdom!
