Thank you Saira. I’m so glad you gleaned these insights! It was a fun exploration for me. The yearning and the ache and being swallowed whole by beauty all at the same time. 🤍
My pleasure, Kassi! The blend of awe and ache, wonder and weightlessness, you captured that tension so beautifully. I love how you described it as being “swallowed whole by beauty.” Such a powerful way to put it. Thank you for letting us travel that emotional orbit with you. ❤️✨️
Kassi, this was such a striking and powerful piece, at once cosmic and deeply human. I felt the tension between the wonder of space and the ache of isolation so vividly. The image of being surrounded by stars while longing for Earth’s peace and simplicity really stayed with me. “What I wouldn’t give to go back” echoed long after I finished reading. I also loved how the poem quietly critiques our endless drive for achievement, climbing “another Mt. Everest”,when sometimes the greater challenge is learning to be still. 🚀✨💜

I love that! You’re amazing. Can’t wait to see where you take us next, your work always lifts the atmosphere, Kassi. Here for the next flight! 🤩
Really cool. I’ve never heard of this kind of poem, I might have to give it a try.
I love this one, Kassi! I actually wrote two self-portrait poems in my collection!! They were so so fun to write.
I’m so excited to read them! ❤️
I would imagine the Milky Way is quite a sight from space, no light pollution, no atmosphere- the stars must be fabulous. Thanks
❤️❤️❤️
